NOBILITY

The green frog  king
sits on his lilly throne
Reigning over his own
water world.

His universe is simple
and sufficient
and consists
Only of necessary things,
tuned to the flow
of events
Such as dawn, summer and
the special moment
wnen the dance of life
Prepares all things
for the following generation,
now sleeping
in their jelly coils,
magic commas,
busy increasing
Their form until
the ordained day
when the water receives them,
to be chased and eaten
by tooth filled mouths.

But not all return 
to be molecules;
some grow
And poke out new formed legs
and rise into the
strange air world
to become a green frog king
sitting on his throne.
