HP-269 Subject: hp49g+ command catalog posting-account=rQRNXw0AAABvdnK38E5FAQAwmqii-2hI Hi everyone... last week I did the ROM update operation (ver.1.23) on my hp49g+, the operation was successful, but... when I saw the command catalog the number of command was 762, not the 763 that appear on the user's guide. why? is that correct? what command did I lost?? === Subject: hp49g+n command catalog last week I did the ROM update operation (ver.1.23) on my hp49g+, the operation was successful, but... when I saw the command catalog the number of command was 762, not the 763 that appear on the user's guide. why? is that correct? what command did I lost?? -> === Subject: Re: hp49g+n command catalog > last week I did the ROM update operation (ver.1.23) on my hp49g+, the > operation was successful, but... when I saw the command catalog the > number of command was 762, not the 763 that appear on the user's > guide. why? is that correct? what command did I lost?? It depends on installed libraries and so on. I have 1100-1200 commands in my catalog. Hello i seriously doubt that UNDEF is more informing than INFINITE it should be considered when graphing or numericaly equating larger scale equation which in some part includes 1/X X might become 0 (of course) it is for me much nicer to see value evauated as limit (like it is now) than UNDEF or NAN or rubbish like that. i belived that: 1/0 = +infinite -1/0 = -infinite or am i missing something ? === Subject: Re: hp 49g+ incorrect CAS <41e8dc5c$0$19398$8fcfb975@news.wanadoo.fr> posting-account=R_kScQwAAACWG31ZZq7VroFkIHxE0hEw It depends on which side you approach 0 from. If you're coming from the negative side, it will tend to -infinity, and if you're coming from the positive side, then it will be +infinity. === Subject: Re: hp 49g+ incorrect CAS > It depends on which side you approach 0 from. Of course i agree, i hope you agree: +infinity in that case has 50% chance to be accurate, further ,when graphing, the error will not be noticable at all. in the end it is more correct than UNDEF or ERROR result infinity or MAXR is regulated by another flag (Exact/Approx mode) as i see it: we have great options to set this behavior to our individual needs or preference. === Subject: Re: hp 49g+ incorrect CAS >It depends on which side you approach 0 from. I do not believe that setting up the 39G KEYTIME value is going to make a difference on the keyboard usage. === Subject: Re: Availability of HP48 Programmers Toolkit software > I recently purchased (on Ebay) Donnelly's HP 48 Programmers > Toolkit.
