would be. In the absence of air resistance, for a given
initial speed a 45 degree initial angle would go the farthest
distance before coming down to the level of the release point,

whether your shot is at the top of its arcwhen it hits the
wall2) you won't have this mark to shoot at in real
life.Better to paint a basketball net on the wall at the
proper heightand practise shooting from the proper

good chance that this is a homework problem, I'lljust say,
stand about eleven and three-quarters feet fromthe wall and
put the mark about twelve foot ten inches high.That should be
enough information for you to practice yourshots, but not

Ialways did my own homework. In fact, It wasnt until the end of
mycalc IV class, that I learned that the answers (and work) to
oddnumbered homework problems, could be found in the answer
book at thelibrary desk. That information could have saved me
a lot of time overfour semesters of calculus.Trivia

keep bouncing.The source to the file is stored in one of the
share directories.Edit it, remove references to that function,
which is rela toa old version of maxima, and then load
it.Following is the line
changed:DEFINE_VARIABLE(DIFFEQ_RUNTIME,0,ANY)$You can modify
the source, to remove those references, by just using 0,>
